How We Handle Your Personal Information

The following provisions of this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) set forth how groovesync, inc. (“we,” “our” or “us”) handles your personal information in connection with the services we provide (our “Services”).   • To send out surveys in connection with our Services;
  • To offer a prize, or to launch marketing, promotional, sales and other campaigns;

  • such provision is made in accordance with applicable laws or regulations;
  • your consent to provision is difficult to obtain, while it is required to protect your life, wellbeing or property;
  • your consent to provision is difficult to obtain, while it is especially required to improve public wellbeing or promote healthy child development;
  • we are required to cooperate with any national government organ, local government or any person entrusted thereby in performing their functions prescribed by laws or regulations, and obtaining your consent is likely to interfere with the performance of such functions;

  • personal information is jointly used in accordance with the provisions of Section 5.
5. Joint use
We jointly use personal information to achieve the purposes of use referred to in Section 3 to the extent as specified below:
  • Scope of personal information subject to joint use: all personal information of each user, unless the relevant user otherwise requests;
  • Scope of joint users: our group companies;
  • Purposes of use applicable to joint users: as same as those specified in Section 3; and
  • Name of a person or a company responsible for the management of personal information for joint use: groovesync, inc.
6. Measures to secure management
We are committed to ensure that all personal information we collect will be appropriately protected under an adequate management system, for example, through the establishment and improvement of our internal management system and a thorough employee education, to prevent or avoid loss, destruction or unauthorized modification or disclosure of, or unauthorized access to, the collected personal information.
7. Disclosure, correction, deletion and suspension of use of personal information
If a user requests that we disclose, correct, delete or suspend the use of such user’s personal information or otherwise take any action in respect of personal information, or any complaint is made with respect to the manner we handle personal information, we will, after confirming that the person requesting to do so is the subject of such personal information, promptly disclose, correct, delete or suspend the use of, or take an action in respect of, such user’s personal information, as the case may be, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Act (if such personal information does not exist, we will give notice to that effect), in which case such user may be required to pay a prescribed fee; provided, however, that this does not apply if such disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use or other action:
  • is likely to prejudice the life, wellbeing, property or any other rights or interest of the user or a third party;
  • is likely to cause a major disruption to the provision of our Services; or
  • constitutes a violation of any other applicable laws or regulations.

8. Collection of information through Google Analytics
In our website, we carry out access analysis enabled by Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), to facilitate our marketing activities in connection with our Services and the development of our recruitment strategy.
Google Analytics collects users’ access information (meaning part of information that provides the details of each user’s access, such as an IP address) using cookies. However, such access information will be anonymized when it is collected and will not be associated with any viewer’s personal information.
The data collected with cookies by Google Analytics will be used for Google Analytics’ summarizing and/or analyzing process by Google and managed in accordance with Google Privacy Policy.
